There is a great deal to tell, but we'll keep it short on history and speak more about our Rally Vision, which has guided us in the past and will frame our business into the future.

Our industry roots go back to the 1930's in western Pennsylvania where P.N. Risser, Sr. sold petroleum products in his hometown of Bedford. P.N. "Bud" Risser, Jr. (second generation), founded Risser Oil in Clearwater, FL in 1960 and later started a Texaco distributorship in Lake City, FL. Now P. N. Risser III, (third generation) is Chairman of the Board for The Risser Companies and continues that sense of community by our commitment to Neighbors serving Neighbors. It was from this Texaco distributorship in Clearwater that Rally Stores, Inc. eventually emerged in August of 1970. While the wholesale petroleum business has prospered with the supply of more than one hundred gas station locations in ten Florida counties under the BP/Amoco, Supergas, Texaco, and Chevron brands, Rally Stores, too, has grown as a company-operated entity.

Today, Rally Stores is a Pinellas County convenience marketer with a global image and top performing sales. Rally is an inspired day-to-day effort to bring products, services, and value to customers in a clean, friendly, and comfortable environment. Today, that set of products includes petroleum products, car washes, foodservice products, prepaid and financial solutions, and convenience based products and services. We suspect that mix will change over time, however, we all share a responsibility to ask customers what they might want, and be looking for "what's next". It is this thinking and proactive retailing that has earned Rally Stores a leadership position in the eyes of vendors and consumers in the highly competitive world of convenience retailing.
